Good 'ol Rupie Murdoch is at it again. "Yea We Hacked Your Phone, Deal With It...Oh Someone Died? Boo, freaking, Hoo" Seems Mr. M, owner of "News Corp", (which right there says to me that there are some major things wrong with our world, a corporation that in its name basically says...."yea we own the news?...WTF?) has admitted that they did in fact, tap phones or as they called it "hacked". The company has paid out the arse in fines and still... they roll along like it all isn't a big deal at all. If that was regular people like us? Auto jailtime, step, relax, eat your meals, it's over johnny, stick a fork in it, you are done. Of course that's all good for our for profit prison system, (oh what you didn't hear about that...oh you will rabbit, you will.) but sorta spells out where the power is in this world...in the hands of a few megalomaniacs. I also have to wonder...at what point do these fossils move aside and let a new generation steer the ship. Seems right now, this humanity thing is on a collision course with a big icy white fragment of fresh water in the Atlantic.

Check this story from the NYT. "World's Oldest Enemy Of The MPAA" Seems this WWII vet has been busy buying cheap bootleg copies of newer release movies then making MORE bootleg copies, checking soldiers "wish I could get this lists" and sending them over to the boys and gals serving the corporate masters of the united states. Seems my man remembers back in his day how much it meant to see a first run flick while people were trying to KILL YOU. This guy is no joke either, HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF COPIES of movies, LOL, that must mean the MPAA has lost...a kabillion dollars on this dude alone. LOL!
What's even crazier than my man who has said F U to the movie industry and I LOVE YOU GUYS to the military is that apparently hollyweird still sends REEL TO REEL movies to guys that have the technological ability to blow up people from a bunker a half a world away! What a bunch of maroons!

Well, it's going on about 2 months now with no "real" TV service here at the Woo Woo Inn. We cut the cord to it and have not looked back since. The usual staple of $110 a month bills (at the LEAST) are now gone and a $50.00 a month high speed FIOS line now replaces it. What about the shows we used to watch? Well strangely enough, Hulu and downloading, yes, the thing all the studios and TV companies don't want you to do, makes up for it. Ya know what's funny is that when I was a kid, TV WAS FREE. We didn't pay for it, it came over the airwaves, then of course cable came along...which had no commercials, then at some strange point, we all decided it was ok to PAY for TV and to have to watch commericials on top of that. Basically, we were getting the double whammy f-me ride.
I gotta say, now with no commercials, and being able to watch what we want, when we want, life is better. TV was just background noise anyhow. It's amazing how much different life is without actors talking about nonsense and doing stupid things. Speaking of stupid...with no reality TV going on in the house...you really start to see how much of a waste sitting in front of that thing was.
