Throwback Thursday

It’s hard to explain what racing was like in the Jersey City Armory. In the days before indoor skateparks and going to nationals all the time in the winter, your only option on the east coast was to hike to JC and hang with about 500 other BMX racers two times a month in that armory. The races there were just amazing and James  Cerullo and his crew gave us kids a great time. For more of this insanity and good times pick up my book “The Average BMXer” available online. But yea that’s me in the Redline jersey tabletopping and having fun.
