I’d love to say that I was so good that the then ABA (now USABMX) gave me two number ones on my plate but alas I finished in 1983 just out of the top 10 for my district and got the 11 plate. I did however get to be on the Redline Factory Support team for a season and it was pretty cool. Redline was and still is a sort of big deal for the BMX racing scene. I was stoked to rock the colors that year. This is a shot of me at Braddock BMX Raceway in North Bergen, NJ getting a little air on the big table. Heavy days for BMX in NJ.
