This is a very historic picture for BMX freestyle in NJ. This in the Jersey City Armory in the winter of 1984. We had just finished up a freestyle demo with Dan Menapace, Tom Nieradka, Rob Giaretta and myself on our kick turn ramp and that monster 1/4 pipe you see pictured. I’m pretty sure this was one of the first if not the first local teams doing a demo in NJ. The M.R. stood for Middaugh Racing. Yea, I was always trying something.
