The last days of racing. The summer of 1983 was my last real year of racing BMX. At that point I had wiggled my way into a factory support Redline deal with JV Bikes in North Bergen and was pretty ecstatic! Lotta little kid dreams were coming true. Ah to be on the same team as Stu Thomsen!…who promptly took a deal with Huffy. Bummer. So this is me, in jeans and a factory support jersey, rocking a table 1 footer at Braddock BMX. The golden age of BMX racing.
