I really can’t explain how great Christmas, or as I know like to call it, JULE!, was at our place. That one day was like magic. The tree, wood burning fireplace, a million toys, people coming in and out of the house visiting with cheer, it was just fantastic.
Some of the best days of my young life. Here I, like a LOT of young kids of my era, unwrap some GIJoe Adventure Team vehicles for my “action figures”. Joes were THE toy for that era and very much paved the way in my mind for what it meant to be alive. I loved that mobile support vehicle and every new car I get…that is always the kind of transport that is in my mind. Whatever happened to those toys? Well, I kept them mint for a long time then when I got into BMX, sold them all for bike parts.
