This photo exemplifies mid 80’s freestyle BMX. Neon bike. Jersey, goggles, open face helmet and…stick frame quarter pipe. This was taken in Matt and Chris Young’s yard in
South Plainfield, NJ. There was a lot of practice done there to prepare ourselves for the coming decade of BMX freestyle that would follow. This is THE stone age of BMX in NJ, circa 1985
