A long time ago, the early 90’s to be exact, BMX freestyle was dead and the only stuff going on were contests run by riders.
This shot was taken at a local contest in Southern NJ right after the Egg Harbor BMX nationals. I think it was the Hough brothers that set it up and in this parking lot. A sort of street and flat comp with prize give aways and the like. The end of the old school and the beginning of the mid school of a sport now in the Olympic games.
