The year is 1991. The place is Hoffman Estates Skatepark in Chicago, Illinois. Myself, Eric Fleming, Jeff Crawn, (doing the tailwhip), and John Jenkins were traveling around hitting 2B Homecooked Comps. You can see us pictured below Jeff’s tailwhipping tire…you can see how pissed I was by the smile on my face, LOL! The true underground began during these times when the AFA was gone and all that was left were rider run comps. Great times lay ahead. This was also Jeff’s debut as a pro rider.
