This is 30 seconds of footage from the first ever major freestyle contest on the east coast. It was in Fitchburg Mass put on by the ever amazing Ron Stebbenne. This is some of the guys from the original incarnation of the High Voltage Trick Team, Chris Young and Tom Nieradka. Tom was one of the best overall riders in NJ at the time, going big not only in freestyle but also in racing, capturing several #1 plates in NJ during that era. The footage comes courtesy of Scott Moroney and other parts of it are featured in the East Coast documentary, A Wicked Ride. 30 years man, where did it go…?
